OSU-Cascades’ annual celebration of students graduating with a bachelor of fine arts begins with a public reception and a month-long exhibit devoted to their work.
The six graduating students and their art, 30 pieces in all, will be recognized at a reception from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, at the Rotunda Gallery in the Central Oregon Community College Library. The reception will be hosted by Assistant Professor Sandy Brooke and Distinguished Professor of Art History Henry M. Sayre. Refreshments will be provided by the OSU-Cascades Art Club
The students’ work, ranging from acrylics to oils, will continue on display at the Rotunda Gallery through Saturday, June 14. Gallery hours are Monday to Thursday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sundays from noon to 7 p.m. (The exhibit will be open only until 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 14.)
