Scdoris Medal of Honor

We could find out this week of Alfalfa’s Rachel Scdoris will be one of three people in the nation to receive the civilian Congressional Medal of Honor for exemplary accomplishments. The 22-year-old musher is expected back in Central Oregon today after her third Iditarod race. She scratched from the race after her dogs became ill. A public reception in her honor will be planned for the near future at the Tower Theatre.
