  • La Pine Affordable Housing

    The Deschutes County Board of Commissioners approves an application for state funding for a $4-million affordable housing project for La Pine. The project is contingent on the developer, Pacific Crest Affordable Housing of Bend, eliminating a funding gap of $765,000 by June 30th. The company proposes a 26-unit, two-story aparment building for low-income seniors to be built on four acres of county land near the La Pine Senior Center.
