Redmond-area Crash

A La Pine resident is listed in serious condition at St. Charles Medical Center-Bend this morning following a two-car crash at Northwest Way and NW Coyner near Redmond Saturday afternoon. Airlife flew 34-year-old Joseph Atkinson to St. Charles after he was extricated from his vehicle. Both cars left the roadway and ended up in a pasture after the crash. 28-year-old Alisha Aldous, of Terrebonne was treated and released at the scene. The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office says no citations have been issued and the crash is under investigation.
