Non-Profit Organization Producing Rodeo Event for Special Needs Peoplern(October 22, 2012) Twenty Special needs people will participate in faux rodeo eventsrnduring the Columbia River Circuit Finals Rodeo.rnSATURDAY, November 3, 2012rn9am – 10:30amrnDeschutes County Fair and Expo CenterrnRegister online to volunteer or participate.rnParticipants of all ages will be paired with 100 local youth volunteers, World ChampionrnCowboys and Cowgirls, Rodeo Royalty and other Rascal Rodeo volunteers to help themrnbe cowboys and cowgirls for the day by learning the different events in rodeo. Including;rnWild Cow Milking, calf roping, steer roping, bull riding, bronc riding, and barrel racing.rnThe only live animals used are horses and ponies. Event is free for volunteers,rnparticipants, and spectators.rnThis will be the third of four Exceptional Rodeos produced by Rascal Rodeo this year inrnWashington and Oregon.rnWe produce exceptional rodeos with real life cowboys & cowgirls sharing the adrenalinernrush & sense of accomplishment of the western way of life with special athletes whornfight battles in a different arena.rn |
